Our Sexual Paradigm: Pleasure and/or Procreation

March 9, 2012

The human body is an amazing creation.  If we gathered all of the human biological scientists in the world in one place to tell us how it works, they would simply argue for 10 years.  But, thousands of years ago, somebody figured out why it works.  Essentially, the body is under control of the mind.  Control the mind and you control the body.

For the last 5000 years, more or less, we have lived under the sexual paradigm of pleasure and/or procreation.  It is a political construct!  Under this construct, these are the only two aspects of sex.  This leaves us viewing women as either brood cows or pleasure palaces, either view implying male ownership.  Men are slowly learning that some women are smart, too.  We need new glasses.

This is an easy political construct because both are obvious.  We are so focused on these aspects of human sex and sexuality we can see no other results.  There are many, most of which are “politically incorrect:” they belong to the occult.  Occult means, “beyond common knowledge.”  The knowledge is there, but needs to be applied differently to become common knowledge.  But this violates the political construct.  We have to think outside the box!

From the occult, we hear a lot of ethereal words that make absolutely no sense to those of us who speak English.  We may grasp some vague understanding of what they are talking about, and we think we know, but are left flat later on.  Many of them use words to describe actual biological processes of which they know nothing in terms of biology.  I prefer hard science as a basis and do not mind using the word “idiopathic” rather than mysterious, mystical or spiritual.  They are all synonyms for, “Duh, I donno.”

Political constructs are fabricated for purposes of diversion.  Tactics include deification, dismissal, and demonization.  Boy, are we easily diverted to pleasure!  The question arises, “What are we being diverted from?”  From Enkidu in The Epic of Gilgamesh, through early Tantra up to Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich, it would seem we are being diverted from our transformation.  Hill called it our “transmutation”.  In that it is probably genetic in nature, transmutation is a better word.

There are other names both in our culture and others for this transmutation: growth of consciousness, awareness, intuition, Satori , evolving, awakening, etc.  This leads to enlightenment, Divine enlightenment, or as Hill put it, “access to infinite intelligence.”  Don’t worry.  This access is on a “need to know” and “ability to communicate” basis.  Communication implies both verbal and mechanical.  For example, if one of the top wealthy men Hill interviewed placed a buy order for a stock that went up, that is considered mechanical communication.  Or consider Ed Leedskalnin constructing a machine that would lift 14-ton blocks, without having the slightest idea (intellectually) of what he had done. Who cares? It worked.  (Coral Castle)

That transformation may take place in a blinding flash or take years, even generations.  But, the secret ingredient is love, another aspect of sex we have been diverted from, by focusing on pleasure or procreation.  Erotic love is not the only way for this to occur, but let’s face it.  Erotic love is a lot easier and more intense focused on one woman than trying to love the other seven billion people on this planet. That would probably work… eventually.  It worked for Mother Theresa and Sister Teresa of Avila.

In my article on Illustrated Sexual Anatomy I define sex as “the mental and/or physical stimulation of nerve endings, creating electrochemical energy, resulting in pleasurable sensations in the genitalia and other sexual responses.”  In the blog on Love: A Many Splendored Spectrum, I define love as energy and model it on the visible light spectrum.  My guess is the combination of these two energies tweaks or expresses genes, producing the transformation.   It is like electrical energy into microwave energy reacting with a raw potato, producing heat energy to transform the raw potato to a cooked potato.  It makes no difference whether the guess is right or wrong.  It is all about an “attitude” of love.  Then, something happens!

This sounds great!  Why not expand the paradigm?  Guys, you may know from sad experience, many women have a built-in crap-meter.  They have the uncanny ability to know when you are just hitting on them or when you are really interested in them.  With our transformation, we get one too.  Ours works differently.  Ours works on used-car salesmen and politicians.   Now you see why it is a political construct.

Anthropologists too look at our evolutionary history with eyes locked into the pleasure/procreation paradigm.  What would happen if they expanded the paradigm?  Would this explain the genetic shift in Neanderthal?  Would it explain how we entered into the Bronze and Iron ages other than by fortuitous accident? Perhaps we should take another look.  Then we can consider the future of evolution based on love.

Sex at Dawn – A Different View.

March 6, 2012

By Dr. Christopher Ryan and Dr. Cacilda Jetha, Harper Perennial 2010

Dr. Christopher Ryan beautifully and passionately described prehistoric sex with many academic citations.  In the introduction he states, “Our cultivated ignorance (about human sexuality) is devastating.”  I heartily agree. Then, Chapter 2: What Darwin Didn’t Know About Sex.  Perhaps it is not the anthropologist’s job to investigate the power and malleability of the human mind, yet the human mind is both.  Nor, perhaps, is it their job to investigate more deeply the nature of love, than to pass it off as hormonal brain chemistry.  However, in dealing with sex, we must look at both.

Dr. Ryan points out we all write from our own perspective, based on our experience and prior teachings.  He notes, “Hobbes took the madness of his age, considered it normal, and projected it back into prehistoric epochs of which he knew next to nothing.”  By the same token, Dr. Ryan writes within the long standing, politically imposed sexual paradigm of pleasure and/or procreation, then limiting pleasure to orgasm. I write from mine.

There are many ancillary responses occurring with or without orgasm or even sexual contact.  Sexual emissions (“ejaculation”) in both male and female are a separate, but an associated physiological response and the human female has three sources where the male has but one.  Transcendence or “altered brain chemistry” is another, which may also occur without sex.  Orgasmic bioluminescence is reported not only by modern women but also referred to in ancient sacred Shamanic texts as “Dragon’s Fire/Breath.”  Then we have Napoleon Hill’s “transmutation,” where “the combination of love, sex and romance can raise a man from mediocrity to the altitude of genius.”   This transmutation was first noted in The Epic of Gilgamesh, 2600 BC, so it is nothing new.  Further, it is probably genetic in nature, so transmutation is a good word.  It is not known how these experiences affected the ancients.  No one to my knowledge ever reported observation of a “glowing bonobo.”   And how would we know if a bonobo had a transcendent sexual experience?  Humans are a little different.

Dr. Ryan has no doubt love was present in the prehistoric era, but blows it off, leaving to believe, as Dr. Helen Fisher, it is simply “brain chemistry.”  This excludes all other forms of love by omission.  He also points out the Speculum Doctrinal, around 1250 AD, abjures a man for loving his wife too much, then goes on to say some modern love songs are examples of stalking.  Perhaps.  Humans throughout history are known to screw up an anvil with a rubber mallet.

He mentions primal behaviors of love, such as grooming, gazing and nourishing without labeling them as behaviors of love.  Both erotic and non-erotic touching is also a behavior of love.  I’ve never seen a bonobo, but I’ll bet a nickel they are touchy-feely.  He does talk about mating cries which, according to Robin Williams in Dead Poet’s Society, humans extended into language.  We can express both a desire to “mate” and love.

He pointed out in the hunter-gatherer age, “women typically breastfeed each child for five or six years.”  Later Ryan states, “Considering its almost total lack of muscle tissue, the female breast wields amazing power.”  The female (and in one case, male) breast is an organ of nourishment.  Nourishing is a behavior of love.  Could we men be subconsciously looking for love, yet denying it due to the pleasure/procreation paradigm?

Dr. Ryan also limits his discussion of sexual behavior to primates, stating only bonobos and humans have sex for pleasure.  This is based on ovulation cycles.  Bottlenose dolphins (tursiops truncatus) apparently, may be another species.  Then again, in the Kama Sutra the yab yum (female on top of male sitting) is a bonding exercise where gazing is the mechanism rather than orgasm.  This gives a different aspect to lap dancing.  Perhaps dolphins, who are as monogamous as gibbons, have sex for bonding?

Although Dr Ryan discusses pair bonding, he does not mention attachment; as different a human behavior as absorption is a different physical behavior from adsorption. I was pleased to see his discussion on MHC, a woman’s nose and the deleterious effect of birth control pills.  As wild speculation, suppose a woman’s nose could also smell beyond our male immune-compatibility and by his smell, determine her ability to transmute him, based on his genetic make-up?  We only learned of woman’s ability to smell MHC a few years ago.  Hill said it takes love.  If it were just sex and romance 99.99% of all the men on this planet would be geniuses.  Sadie Hawkins Day might have been a good thing.

Toward the end, he speaks to “variety is the spice of life.”  He views it as doing the same thing with different women.  Do we ever consider doing different things with the same woman?  He also points out the malleability of the human mind where a woman walks out on a cheating husband as though she were reading from a script.  We could also call it brainwashing.  It is neither good nor bad.  There could be many other conditions.  What is “bad” is the fact we are programmed and this is the tip of the iceberg.

Oh, the angst of a poet!  One over riding, unstated thesis comes through this book: a Greed Based Civilization is a disease, responsible for more premature human deaths than any other cause.  Who knows?  GBC might be an STD.  Love might be the cure, and the future of evolution.

“The Mystery of Sex”

February 28, 2012

Napoleon Hill            Don’t blame me.  I didn’t say it.  Napoleon Hill said it.  It is the title of a chapter in one of his books.  Who th’ hell is Napoleon Hill, you ask?  He was the Deepak Chopra and Tony Robbins of the 1920’s and 1930’s.  His book, Think and Grow Rich, was published in 1937!  That’s seventy-five years ago!  That was even before MY time!

You can read this chapter on line at,+98%25+…#PPA182,M1  starting on page 182.

Here are some quotes from that book:

The emotion of sex brings into being a state of mind.  Because of ignorance on the subject, this state of mind in generally associated with the physical, and because of improper influences, to which most people have been subjected, in acquiring knowledge of sex; things essentially physical have highly biased the mind.

The emotion of sex, has back of it the possibility of three constructive potentialities, they are—

1.      The perpetuation of Mankind.

2.      The maintenance of health, (as a therapeutic agency, it has no equal).

3.      The transformation of mediocrity into genius through transmutation. (Bold emphasis is mine.)

“Highly biased”?  See my blog on dysassociative sex.  His items 1 & 2 are what I call the pleasure/procreation paradigm.  But, his item #3 is why I wrote The Sacred Female!  The transmutation he speaks of may be a result of the transcendental experience I speak of.  However, the transcendental experience may not be necessary for the transmutation.  (Transmutation is simply the changing of one element or form of energy into another.)  But, more Hill.

Love, romance and sex are all emotions capable of driving men to heights of super achievement.  Love is the emotion which serves as a safety valve, and insures balance, poise, and constructive effort.  When combined, these three emotions may lift one to an altitude of a genius. There are genuii, however, who know but little of the emotion of love.  Most of them may be found engaged in some form of action which is destructive or at least, not based upon justice and fairness toward others.  If good taste would permit, a dozen genii could be named in the field of industry and finance who ride ruthlessly over the rights of their fellow men.  They seem totally lacking in conscience.  The reader can easily supply his own list of such men.  (Bold emphasis mine.)

Can you imagine?  He wrote this long before George Bush was born!  Nah!  Bush is no genius.

Now, you may think I wrote The Sacred Female to enhance the pleasure of women.  OK.  I did.  Why?  Accepting the various sexual responses of women is a part of loving them.  It seems the greater their sexual pleasure, the easier it is for them to provide this transcendental experience for men.  It clears the decks for action.  However, MEN ARE THE RECIPIANTS OF THIS GENIUS!  I wrote the book so men could survive and prosper in the tough times ahead.  I figured women would be the best teachers.

PS.  You can read The Sacred Female at http://authonomy,com, a Harper Collins UK site.  I’ve tried figuring out the URL, but unless you paste it into a new browser, it won’t work.    Here it is:

A “Higher Purpose” for Men and Women

February 25, 2012

(This will be the “Author’s Note” in The Alchemy of Erotic Love… for Guys.)

kissing  When it comes to women, men are taught to view them as either “brood cows” or “Pleasure Palaces.”  It wasn’t always this way.  We are taught to penetrate them as we did the enemy long ago, with sword and spear from behind a shield.  Even the word, vagina, means “scabbard” or “sheath” in Latin.  The bedroom is not a battlefield!  We treat them as a glass of beer, sipping only the frothy head, leaving the delicious nectar beneath to go flat and stale.  We do this at our own peril!

Join me as we look at woman without the perfumed blinders of pleasure and/or procreation.  We will look at her scientifically through the magnifying lens of love.  This lens is not the mushy gushy stuff of chick flicks, rather the lens that focuses the sun’s energy on us to ignite the creative flames of men’s souls.

I will not lead you down some primrose path of ethereal foo-foo talk.  I have been there and they all dead-end for me.  I wanted hard-core answers!  However, science hasn’t been there yet.  The flame in me can only suggest what science might find when they get there.  If my scientific speculation on what might be going on in the human body is wrong, it doesn’t make any difference.  The results are there, if you want them.

Many Gurus will tell you, ”I am right.  Believe me.”  I won’t.  As the old saying goes, “The proof of the pudding is in the tasting.”  Don’t believe me!  Try it for yourself.  Only when you have the results, will you believe me, and my speculative mechanisms still could be wrong.  I don’t think so, but it makes no difference.  The results are there, if you want them.

Oh, yes.  Our higher purpose?  To love and be loved.  That simple!

The Messenger.

January 25, 2012

I would ask, “Who the hell is this guy trying to teach us something about sex and love?”  Then I would answer I have no academic credentials in this field.  My Batchelor’s degree is in Ocean Engineering and my Master’s is in Business.  I am a teacher, once holding the academic rank of Associate Professor.  But, I have something better.  Experience!

Experience by itself is of no value until it is analyzed.  So, I went to the best in the business of sexual science, Dr. Beverly Whipple, and started asking questions.  With my academic background, I was able to understand much of what I read.  I received answers and leads.  My experience went far beyond the state of sexual science today.  My questions started with female ejaculation.  Most of Dr. Whipple’s work was around Neurophysiology with a more scientific focus on orgasm and female ejaculation from the prostate.  I knew there was more.

In the past couple of years, there are scientific papers on orgasmic discharge from the urinary bladder (not urine) and from the vagina.  My experience was finally validated by science.  “But wait,” as Billy Mays used to say.  “There’s more!”

I had also experienced a form of Transcendent sex and orgasmic bioluminescence.  Through other leads, I found information on these subjects as well.  I also read material on sexual practices of the occult, sexual archeology and anthropology, sexual history and politics, and culled a little information on love.  Not much information on love, but there are clues.

Over the years, Dr. Whipple and I have become friends.  We can tease each other, but she allows me to get away with nothing!  On a recent visit I was telling her that transcendent sex was altered brain chemistry.  She asked, “Which part of the brain?”  Were science-speak more a part of my vocabulary I would have responded, “It’s idiopathic.”  But, I just said, “Duh! I dunno.”  On reflection, I wrote her and said I guess it depends on the form of transcendence.

A few things I have learned from or through her are:

  1. There are 3.5 billion women on this planet and they are all different, to one degree or another.  So are we.
  2. There is a lot more to sex than the Big O.
  3.  Sexual intercourse is not necessary to get any of the sexual responses, including the Big O.
  4. We’ve all been conned out of sexual love, and
  5. Perhaps most important, all of the “experts” including me, come from their own agenda, based on their experience and the lies they’ve been told over the centuries.  So do the rest of us.

Some of the “conclusions” at which I arrive, are simply my own thoughts on the subject: conjecture and speculation.  But I tell you.  And, like others, I pick and choose the science that validates my experience, but I try and let you know varying opinions.  For example, love is defined as a “feeling.”  I find the definition limiting.  Feelings come from brain chemistry due to certain genes being activated, or expressed.  I look at love as a form of energy all about us, which we can allow, or disallow, to express, or not express those genes.  If it is a feeling, then we are responsible for that feeling.  If it is energy, then we are only responsible for allowing it!

Why don’t we allow it?  Brainwashing!  Centuries of brainwashing.  I’ve traced some of it and quite frankly it pisses me off!  We’ve been inculcated to live under a sexual paradigm of pleasure and/or procreation.  I tell you from experience, there is a third “P:” power.  Napoleon Hill called it “access to infinite intelligence.”  My speculation (see what I mean?) is when sex is coupled with love, and the focus of the act is on giving and receiving love, rather than pleasure, we become empowered!  I again speculate that these energies express new, or modify old, genes, altering our brain chemistry positively.

Before I learned a lot of this, I wrote The Sacred Female, my first novel.  I wanted to share the experiences so that others might also share them with their beloved and become far more empowered than I.  Now I share the mechanisms, and possible mechanisms that create this experience and the power.

I am just a messenger.

It’s a Sad Fact…

January 10, 2012

It is a sad fact that “knowledge” about love and sex has been dictated to us over the centuries.  Most of it is myth and misinformation.  We believe we have to “like” some one in order to love them.  Although this is quite true in intimate relationships, is not true about the rest of the world.  We can wish for, or pray for, or think about the highest good of others without even knowing who they are or what their highest good is!  We may abhor their behavior, but still wish for their highest good.

When it gets up close and personal—here I speak of acquaintances, friends and neighbors—we have the opportunity to not only “think about,” but actually do something that may be in their best interest and higher good.  Sometimes, it is just staying out of their way.

For most guys, and a lot of women, love has been removed from sex, or confused with it.  We view sex simply as a pleasurable activity with someone we may or may not love, like or even know.  Well, yeah.  We have a natural sexual desire.  It comes from the paraventricular nucleus in the hypothalamus; the same place thirst comes from.  So, as long as we get thirsty, we will have sexual desire. (Pass me a glass of water.)  The hypothalamus is the size of a pea and the paraventricular nucleus is a tiny part of it.  I never knew such a little thing could get me in so much trouble!

Intimate sexual love takes time.  There are two reasons for this.

  1. Biochemical.  It takes longer for the bonding hormone oxytocin to build up in the man than it does in the woman.
  2. Social.  We all wear masks when on the hunt: both men and women.  To get to really know a person takes time.  We have to be comfortable with them and that is a function of who we really are as well as who they are.  Some wear masks all their lives.

When we do get to know them—emotionally—then we can get to know them physically.  The Kama Sutra recommends taking three days of non-genital erotic play after marriage to get to know each other’s bodies.  There are many more erogenous zones on the human body than the genitalia, and they are all different for each of us.

It seems today, everybody is worried about the “Big O.”  First, that is only one of many sexual responses, some making the Big O seem like a non-event and sexual contact, intercourse or masturbation is not necessary to produce any of them!  But, we haven’t been told this or trained in it.  Honestly, from what I’ve heard from most guys their “Big O” isn’t much more than prostate maintenance coupled with an ego trip.

We’ve heard about “magic buttons” on women, like the clitoris and G spot.  But for both genders the real “magic button” is the essence of your beloved!  Get to know it, and then open yourself to let love reverently flow through you to that essence.  Think about transmitting love rather than producing pleasure.  Now, you are making love instead of having sex.  You’ll be amazed at the difference!

On Circumcision

December 15, 2011

Let me start by saying misogyny is not about putting women down, it is about keeping men down!  And men bit into it hook, line and sinker!

To figure all this out, I take a bio-energetic view of sex.  Let’s face it.  During sexual intercourse, we are stimulating nerve endings to create electrochemical energy.  This energy expresses genes that give us the sensation of pleasure and OTHER SEXUAL RESPONSES, by altering our brain chemistry.  Transcendence, in its many forms, is one of these responses.  Transcendence is defined as “altered brain chemistry.”

Now, let’s add a little salt to the bland stew of sex.  (Yeah, it’s bland by comparison.)  Let’s add love.  Can love express genes to alter our brain chemistry and transform us into “super human” beings?  Sounds like something out of fantasy.  Worse yet, just a bunch of romantic BS.  Unfortunately history, both modern and ancient, tells us otherwise.

Circumcision is an operation that removes 50% of our penile skin tissue and 50% of the nerve endings attached to our pudendal nerve.  The operation leaves scar tissue that can become painful after orgasmic ejaculation.  How many of us guys have said, “Stop!  Stop!  Don’t move!  Don’t move! Oh God?” Yeah, it’s painful.

Some girls say the same thing, but for a different reason.  Some during the onset of orgasm have the “urge to void,” as Masters and Johnson said.  Some don’t.  They don’t know that this urge may precede their orgasmic discharge, either from the urinary bladder or prostate or both, and they think they are going to pee on you.  The bladder discharge is also called Amrita (“The Nectar of the Goddess,” believed to give immortality) and is not urinary stress incontinence.  So, they tell you to stop.

Compared to women, guys don’t have anywhere near the number of sexual nerve endings.  The penis is our main stick!  And then they cut off half the nerve endings!  They diminish our capacity to create electrochemical energy!  Bastards!  The good news is it didn’t work.  All we gotta do is add a little more love.

I’ve heard the excuses.  “Covenant with God.”  “Cleanliness.”  If God didn’t want us to have a foreskin, He wouldn’t have given us one, and did you ever hear of soap and water?  Skin it back and wash it!

I’ve also heard women say, “Ouuh!  Yuck!  Uncircumcised?  Yuck!”  Well, ladies, if men in their infancy had not had this MALE genital mutilation forced upon them, you wouldn’t know the difference!

Now, take a look at this video.  It is just Dr. Ken McGrath in Australia talking about it.  Consider it, then add some more love.  Just let it flow through you.

Three Jewels in the Crown of Female Orgasm

December 10, 2011

I have known, observed and experienced things long before there were studied by science.  Many still have no scientific validation.  They are “bracelets” and “necklaces.”  But now I have science for these three, which I view as a gift of love.

In 1999, Zaviacic wrote, The Human Female Prostate[1], essentially describing its function the same as the male prostate: ejaculation of about 5 ml +/- of prostatic fluid on orgasm.  Although Galen, around 200 AD said the same thing and Reginer de Graff, in 1660 also described and sketched it.  De Graff also noted his female patients described this as more pleasurable… in 1660!

In the very near future, Emmanuele Jannini[2], will have a paper published in J. Sex. Med regarding orgasmic discharge from the urinary bladder that IS NOT URINE!  In his one subject, there was 127 ml (1/2 cup) of fluid discharged.  I have seen, but not measured, apparently greater quantities. In Tantric Sex, both act and fluid are called Amitra.  Many women were told this was “urinary stress incontinence.”  Not true!  There is less that ½ the concentration of urea in the fluid from baseline urine studies of the subject.  I would imagine this would decrease on subsequent orgasms.  (You don’t stop at one, do you?)

Finally, there is a ring of glands inside the vagina, just in back of the hymeneal area (where the hymen used to be) that also quickly secrete a fluid.  In Uganda, this is called, “spraying the walls.” This was presented by Dr. I. Goldstein[3] at the AASECT convention last year and is also in the J. Sex Med.  I don’t have a copy yet and will update this blog when it comes in.

Jannini noted prostatic ejaculation followed the bladder discharge.  Sherri Winston[4] told me in some women, vaginal discharge followed this.  I do not know if there is a “set” order for this, but I do know ejaculation can occur independently.  I wonder if Master’s and Johnson’s “urge to void” preceding orgasm was a precursor to bladder discharge or ejaculation or both?  Probably, “yes, depending.”  If you have the “urge,” let it go!  You’ll enjoy it!

Joyful Bioluminescence

November 11, 2011

ArtNobleFireflies Who am I?

I am a man blessed by knowing some fantastic women in my life and cursed with curiosity.  When I say, “knowing” I mean both in the Biblical sense and over the Internet.  The original title of this piece was “Orgasmic Bioluminescence.”  Because I observed it on orgasm as did the people I contacted or who contacted me to validate this experience. I quote two of them on the back cover of The Sacred Female.  A woman in Arkansas told me when she wanted to glow, she’d call a certain fellow in town, he’d come up the mountain, they would get it on, she would glow and that was it.

BUT, a woman recently shared with me she glowed while singing “And the Glory” in a chorus performing The Messiah.  Additionally, she was carrying a “bundle of joy” in her belly at the time.  Afterward, people asked her why the spot light was on her during that song and she had no idea what they were talking about!  The good news is it is not just about sex! And, we can be joyful in being with our beloved.

So what is it?

Bioluminescence is the opposite of photosynthesis.  You know, the process that takes light to activate chlorophyll in leaves to turn them green.  We also use light energy to run our bodies.  Sunshine is a “natural” Vitamin D.  Not really.  We take on the photons (light energy) to manufacture Vitamin D in our bodies.  Bioluminescence is simply the giving off of photons rather than the taking on.  We see it normally in fireflies and certain marine organisms.

What causes it?

Scientists, in their study of fireflies, etc., don’t know, but believe it to be associated with Adenosine Tri Phosphate (ATP).  ATP is like a wallet for energy, produced by the cells.  I don’t know about fireflies, but it carries energy through our bodies.  It this specific case, when we create an excess of energy, it is given off as photons through the skin.  It is rare and there is no money in it so science doesn’t study it.  Few have even heard of it.

How does it occur?

I learned from Chyna Pi in the ancient Sacred Shamanic Sexual texts it is called, “Dragon’s Fire/Breath” and is the result of a breathing exercise.  Think of hyperventilation.  When we engage in rapid, deep breathing, our fingers and toes go numb.  I imagine this exercise is something like that.  We build up O2 and reduce CO2 in our bodies.  But, there is more to it.  It also has to do with mental discipline and clearing the mind.  But consider, when making love, where you are focused on giving love through your body to your partner and open to receiving love from them, And there is not much else on your mind.

Now consider as you approach the orgasmic plateau, with a love focused mind, the autonomic nervous system takes over and naturally sets up the breathing rhythm to produce these results, mimicking the Shamanic breathing exercise.  Further, PET scans of humans having an orgasm show oxygen flow to the brain is shut off, where fMRI’s show an increase in blood flow.  There are a lot of things happening in the human body about which we have no knowledge.  We can only speculate, as I just did.  Let’s just say humans are fantastic creatures.

Here we can see how singing, a task that requires specialized breathing, can play into this.  We can also see how joy of singing this particular piece and the joy of being physically bonded with our beloved can produce this.  So, here we have a phenomenon that can be produced out of pure joy and the breathing associated with it, or simply by breathing alone, essentially mimicking the joy we feel.  Of course, this is speculation, but I like speculating this way.

Chicken or egg?

None of the men and women I contacted who claim to have observed or done this, ever mentioned “Dragon’s Fire/Breath” or “Shamanic Sex.”  Until I met Chyna Pi.  So, I’m thinking the non-sexual breathing exercise arose from sexual experience, not the other way around.  But, I also think the animal headed humans we see in ancient carvings from around the world arose from a transcendent sexual experience called Trespasso.  But, who knows?

This should not be considered a “goal” of sex, unless you have studied for years under a shaman who is familiar with it.  (There are few today.)  This is probably an expression, a physical manifestation of love and joy: the joy of being bonded with your beloved.  Simply focus on love and let go of everything else.  Something else just as wonderful may happen.  In the mean time, let us light up the world with the joy of being with our beloved.

November 3, 2011

Most of my experiences in sex and sexual love (they are two different things – a matter of attitude) out stripped my knowledge of what was going on at the time.  Until my experience with transcendent sex, I thought: “Hey!  It felt good!  Who cares?”

Then, I had a little change and wanted to know what the heck was happening to me.  For this reason, my research was broad, encompassing just about everything from modern sexual science to ancient sexual history, including political history, microbiology, genetics, and that funny stuff called love.

With this, I have a broader knowledge of this subject than most of the people on this planet.  I also know that there are thousands of questions I cannot answer and millions of questions we know not how to ask!  I also have a unique perspective.  I cannot and do not say that I am right or wrong.  Sexual science does not go as far as I have been, so all I can do is speculate base on their suggestions.

A few of my articles are linked on this site:  One thing is for sure: we can “study” sex for the next century and still not know it all, because somebody will come along and have a new and different response with a different effect.  This material is both scientific and speculative.  It may be viewed as suitable for teen-agers, with parental approval.

The bottom line is we are all far more fantastic that we have been told we are!  I believe all it takes is love.  If you like what you read, please feel free to share it with others.  We can all use each other’s feed back.
